Hello all, it's been ages sense I've been to the deviantArt forums. But I finally have to come here cause it's the only place in art relate to turn to for answers sense I'm trying to accomplish a simple soft body and mesh collision on autodesk maya 2016. With out the need to add animation to like a ball to collide with the soft body object like a floor or another object mesh by simply using the manipulator tool.
So here's what I'm trying to achieve, simply I want to start smashing that guy's head with the ball. Ignore the rig bones sense I've gone no where with those. Haven't binded them yet but that's when I find a better tutorial on how to smooth bind on 2016.
So anyway, yeah it's what I'm asking as you can see on this pic topside. They're both polygon objects, and I want that pony mesh to have a soft body with collision to that hard ball and start smooshing his head. LOL
I have looked on every tutorial on those subjects on youtube and autodesk knowledge and never gave me a simple straight answer how to do that.
