Enjoying the sea bathing

Here he is! The one with a peeking tail I submitted not too long ago, I'm proud how I'm improving the shading and designing the markings.^^
So uh, he's just enjoying his bath in sea water, that's located underneath the city where there's easy access to the ocean and enjoy some swimming outside the city underwater. Unless you have the body to handle the water's pressure. LOL

Working on water is pretty new, I have never done anything like this, well one thing I'm missing is some reflection on the water! Now I thought about it and I'm looking at it this water is nothing with no reflection!
But I'll figure that out some time when I'm doing another picture like this.
And yes, mermaids I'm going to post a lot! Somehow I have grown attached to that idea, but this mermaid idea is not like what you think in fantasy movies. These people are very different, and they have the ability to change their body to be a marmaid or a humanoid to walk around. Their tails are grown for speed, cause they grown with that from being chased by predators so many times.
They know many ways to escape by fast learning.
